One Friday night, Kirin and Lenneth went to a school football game. White Rock (the school they go to) was winning Grapevine High by a touchdown! All of a sudden, a bright light flies through the sky. Kirin and Lenneth were then transported to this forest like place.
They begin to look around to figure out where they were and find a huge castle. As they were walking towards it, a soldier shouts to others that Princess Khailina has returned with a civilian. Lenneth and Kirin look at each oher strangely and follow the soldier to see the emperor. Lenneth and Kirin explain what happened and how Lenneth isn't Princess Khailina. Emperor Kayne tells them that the princess is missing and how Lenneth looks just like her, and the Assassins, an evil cult, was looking for the Angel's Tear, Empress Alyphena's necklace that she wore everyday before she died, which possesses magical powers. The Angel's Tear can be used for good, a peaceful land, or evil, complete chaos.
Princess Khailina now wears that necklace and the whole kingdom is counting on her not to give up and protect the Angel's Tear from the assassin cult or everything will be destroyed. Will Kirin and Lenneth find Princess Khailina in time before the assassin cult uses the Angel's Tear for evil?
