Sawa

At a young age she became an orphan due to the fact that her parents were inhumanly murdered.  Akai, the detective assigned to her case, took her in and trained her to become a cold-blooded killer.  He greatly disliked the fact that more and more criminals are set loose out on the streets, so he has Sawa take care of them.

Oburi

Like Sawa, he works for Akai and Kanie.  Oburi took up the job to assassin criminals for the money, because his current job  doesn't offer enough.  He met Sawa during his mission of killing three child molesters.  Oburi's fighting style is alittle different from Sawa's.  He tends to use miniature bombs while Sawa has her exploding bullets.

Akai

He's the detective who worked on the case of the death of Sawa's parents.  Akai took her in and gave her a pair of earrings, containing the blood of her mother and father.  He hates that so many criminals are roaming freely, so he trained Sawa to be a killer.

Kanie

He's Akai's assistant.  Kanie gets the background information on their targets and assigns them to either Sawa or Oburi.  .:SPOILER AHEAD:. He was the one who murdered Sawa's parents and doesn't realize that she has something in mind for him and Akai.

Mysterious Girl

She looks a lot like Oburi.  She is first seen playing basketball with her friend after Oburi left Akai's place.  I'm unsure if she was also hired by Akai, but most likely was.
