Upper Deck, a sports card company, manufactured the Card Captors Trading Cards and the Card Captors Collectible Card Game.
The trading cards come in packs of 7 cards: 6 trading cards, 1 holographic cards, plus a checklist. This set consists of 90 regular cards, 90 silver parallel (1:1). parallel cards that are sequentially numbered to 50 (no guaranteed ratio), 18 Character Clow Cards (1:4), and 3 checklists. In addition, there is a 9-card puzzle on the back of some checklists.
The card games has 9 cards in a pack and the starter deck contains 60 cards. There are 42 capture cards, 10 reinforcement, 21 strategy, and 28 Clow Spirits that make up this set of 101 cards (excluding the holographic rares). The rarity symbol is Clow's magical circle that will be 3 different colors: blue is a common, green is uncommon, and purple is rare. Also, the cards which come in the starter decks are not avalible in through he booster packs.
